Richard Yun was a man well-loved, says former Kincardine resident

To the Editor:

Having moved away from Kincardine a number of years back, yet still keeping in touch as best I can, I was so saddened to learn of Richard Yun’s death. He was always on the go, involved in everything and anything.

I had the pleasure of knowing the family through school activities and various organizations, soccer teams and bowling and basketball.

As involved as Richard was, so too, were his wife, Karen, and his sons, Michael and David. The entire family shared the same spirit of community awareness and involvement. They are a lovely family.

Richard will be fondly remembered by so many, and honoured for all he accomplished. He was truly an example of a life well-lived, and of a man well-loved.

Editor's Note: A Celebration of Life for Richard Yun, who was named Kincardine's Citizen of the Year in March, was held Saturday, May 6, at the Kincardine Pavilion, with a huge crowd in attendance.
