South OPP report suspicious man in Ripley located; and impaired driver charged

SUSPICIOUS MAN IN RIPLEY LOCATED
 
(RIPLEY, ON) - A suspicious man seen on William Street in Ripley, has been located.

The South Bruce OPP received a report Monday evening, that a suspicious man was riding a bike slowly through the Village of Ripley as school children were walking home from school.

May 9, the man was located. The South Bruce OPP appreciates the assistance of the media and the public with this investigation.

IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING DAY IN COURT
 
(CARRICK TWP, ON) - May 7, at 2:27 a.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Highway 9 in Carrick Township, stopped a grey Dodge Journey. 

The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Thirty-three-year-old Jesse VANDEPOLL of Edmonton, Alberta, was charged with impaired operation and operate over-80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in court June 7, to answer to the charges.
