Kincardine MS Walk raises more than $28,000

Organizers of the Kincardine Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Walk are thrilled with the results from the 17th annual event, held Sunday morning (May 7) at the Davidson Centre.

About 100 participants raised $28,055, with more donations coming in, on-line, throughout the month of May. The money goes toward the MS Society of Canada to assist those living with the disease and their families, as well as toward research into a cure.

The Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band led the teams from the Davidson Centre as they headed out to walk either a two-kilometre or five-kilometre route.
