Bervie W.I. discusses plans for 110th Anniversary Tea June 13
Ten members of the Bervie Women's Institute gathered at the Institute hall in Bervie, Wednesday, June 7, at 10 a.m., and answered the Roll Call which was your favourite nursery rhyme or poem.

President Sylvia Hasbury opened with a poem, “I wrote a Little Letter.”

Some tentative dates in July and August were selected for the ladies to help with the lemonade and cookies at the Bruce County Museum in Southampton.

Islay Eby reported on the District Annual held in Walkerton, May 25, where the guest speaker, Ruth Montgomery of Lucknow, gave some helpful tips on downsizing your home and how to tactfully pass along your prized possessions.

Final details for Bervie W.I.’s 110th Anniversary Tea, slated for Tuesday, June 13, from 2-4 p.m., at the hall in Bervie, were presented by Sandra MacDonald.

Ellen Waye provided muffins and cookies for the coffee time.

The next meeting will be at the hall, July 3 at 10 a.m., with Canada’s 150th as the theme.
