Keith and Jean Surridge travelled from Penticton, British Columbia, to attend the 50
th wedding anniversary of Bernie and Irene (Surridge) Fobert, June 3, in Bobcaygeon. While visiting the area, Keith took advantage of this time to do some visiting. Hope your visit went well and safe travels back home to B.C.
The Old Diggers Tiverton Mushball Tournament will be held July 7-9. There will be 16 teams and a fee of $200 per team. To register teams, you can contact Steve Glover or Kelly at

Church News
Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church will be holding a Yard Sale, Friday, June 16, from 5-8 p.m.; and Saturday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to Noon. If you would like to make a donation to the sale, it can be dropped off Wednesday, June 14, from Noon to 6 p.m., and Friday, June 16, form 9 a.m. to Noon. Please, NO large appliances or furniture. All proceeds from the sale will go toward the New Church Roof fund.
Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church will be holding a Barbecue Lunch, Monday, June 19, at Noon. Donations at the door, with all proceeds going to the Church Roof Fund.
The Summer Salad Supper will be held Tuesday, July 11, from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Underwood News
In honor of Canada’s 150
th birthday, Underwood is hosting an Interdenominational Church Service at the Underwood Community Centre, Sunday, July 2. Festivities will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a pot luck lunch after the service. Rev. Paul Scott Wilson will be the guest speaker. There will also be special music, children’s activities, church displays and a tree dedication. Hope to see you there.
Agricultural Society News
The Tiverton Agricultural Society is looking for a volunteer to run the Poultry Division at the Tiverton Fall Fair in October. If you are interested or need more information, contact Dianne at

The Tiverton and Kincardine Agricultural Societies are hosting an Escape Room Tournament, Saturday, June 17, at Connaught Park, Kincardine. Each team will have 45 minutes to solve a real-life brain-teaser using your logic and creativity while testing your patience. Tiverton Lions
The Lions will be hosting their Summer Kickoff June 23-24. Come celebrate the Lions International Centennial and Bruce County’s 150
th Anniversary. Check out their Facebook page for more details. There will be a Spaghetti Dinner, June 24, from 5-7 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre in Tiverton. The meal includes spaghetti, roll, Caesar salad and dessert, and the cost is $12 for adults; $5 for children under age 12; and free for preschoolers. There will also be an inflatable funland, games and a movie night. All proceeds to community projects/charities.
The Tiverton Lions Walk of Memories Tree dedication service will be held Sunday, June 18, at 2 p.m. If inclement weather, the service will be held in the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, Tiverton.
