RCM Technologies expanding office on second floor of Kincardine municipal administration centre
RCM Technologies plans to locate a substantial design, procurement and project-controls capability at its Kincardine location, in Bruce County.
The increased need for office space will see the company expand its presence on the second floor of Kincardine’s Municipal Administration Centre building, using a total of 4,000 square feet.
“We are pleased to see RCM Technologies expanding its presence in our region and establishing such a significant footprint,” said Bruce County warden Mitch Twolan. “This company's investment in our economy is a great win for the entire region.”
In addition to design and field support services, RCM is relocating and hiring office staff and senior management personnel at this location, with plans to increase its current local staff to about 80 people who execute most of their work for Bruce Power.
“We are extremely pleased to announce this expansion,” said Rocco Campanelli, RCM chairman and chief executive officer. “We have been a partner with Bruce Power since its inception in 2001, working on numerous capital, and operations and maintenance projects. Expanding our local presence will enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of delivering our services, while improving the local economy through job creation and increased spending in Bruce County.”
“This is a fantastic win for our regional economy,” said James Scongack, vice-president of corporate affairs at Bruce Power. “RCM Technologies will bring highly-skilled, value-added jobs, supporting our vision of a long-term, sustainable regional economy that is able to facilitate and move forward innovation in the nuclear industry.”
