Reader glad he ignored the critics, enjoyed “Wally's Cafe”
To the Editor:
RE: "'Wally's Cafe' serves up cheap comedy fare at Bluewater Playhouse"

After reading the review in the Kincardine Record, I thought maybe I had wasted my money. But, thankfully, the theatre critic was off the mark, in my opinion.

As for the husband and wife acting as, “Wally sounds like Lou Costello opposite Laverne DeFazio from 'Laverne and Shirley',“ ... Wally and Louise are from New Jersey so I would expect this. And Janet acting as a space cadet? This was her character ...

Another complaint the reviewer stated was, “The show started off sad and miserable and ended the same way." I strongly disagree but this is my opinion and I choose to make up my own mind and ignore the critics.

We saw the show Friday night. It was a full house and my friends from out-of-town enjoyed it.
