Congratulations to the organizers of the 3rd Annual Point Clark Lighthouse Sunset Dinner for another successful evening Friday night. The live entertainment by HAWK Theatre was well-received as was the music of Serena Rutledge.
 
Thank you to the Kingsbridge Centre for another great concert Wednesday evening.
 
William Elliott, the eldest son of Shari and Ian Elliott, is racing with a Canadian cycling team, Team Raceclean, this year. He won a six-stage race in the Tour of Demas in Belgium recently. Congratulations, William!
 
Heather and Joseph Finnie, Gabrielle and Greg Smith and children enjoyed a week at Camp Kumuntome, near Markdale.
 
Oliver Larion of Brampton spent the week with his grandparents, Janet and Wayne Rhody. Marilee and David Rhody, their daughter, Kalua, and son, Kazim, spent a couple of days with their Rhody relatives this past week.
 
Family and friends gathered at the home of Diane and Arnold Clifford to visit with Christine, Mike and Dominic Gemmell of Nova Scotia.
 
Our sympathy is extended to the family of Carolyn Shewfelt, and to the family of Florence Nicholson. 
 
It is always encouraging to meet up with folks who read our column.
 
Wilma and Cecil Sutton and Tammy and Dylan Murray enjoyed a visit with Cecil’s sister, Jean and Allan Gilmore, and some of their family recently.
 
During the week, Mary Anne Kukoly visited with Ruthe and Hugh Duncan.
