About 15 children turned out for the opening day of the Vacation Bible School (VBS), Monday morning at Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton.

The week-long event is open to youngsters, ages four to 11 (must have completed Junior Kindergarten), and runs every morning, from 8:45 a.m. to Noon, at the church.

The theme is "Maker Fun Factory," and joining Rev. David Chang, are a dozen youth and adult volunteers, helping to present on the program.

Each day features an opening and closing session, as well as games, crafts, songs, Bible verses, and snacks.

The VBS continues until Friday at Noon.
