Lindsay Glover receives Victoria Park Gallery scholarship
Kincardine District Secondary School graduate Lindsay Glover has received a scholarship from the Victoria Park Gallery, Kincardine.
The presentation was made Wednesday night (Sept. 6) during the public forum portion of the Kincardine council meeting.
Kincardine artist Mary Faubert, representing the gallery, and Kincardine mayor Anne Eadie made the presentation of the $500 scholarship.
Lindsay is an accomplished artist. In April, her mural was unveiled at the school bus entrance at KDSS, and she competed in the graphic design category at Skills Ontario in May. She is studying graphic design at Fanshawe College in London.

The Victoria Park Gallery's mandate is to educate the community about art, to display student artwork at the gallery, and present scholarships to students who are going on to post-secondary education with art as their major.
