Quilters of Aintree donate $1,500 to Kincardine hospital foundation
Jack Nancekivell (above, left) of the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, was at Aintree Trailer Park, Sept. 3, to accept a $1,500 donation to the foundation, from the ladies of the Quilters of Aintree.
Each year, this group gathers every Monday during the summer months and creates one full-size quilt and one crib quilt. Money for the donation is raised by selling raffle tickets on these two quilts.
Through the generous support of the residents of Aintree Trailer Park and the proprietors, Cathy and Jim Boyer, this endeavour has become a very successful annual event.
This is the 15th consecutive year the Quilters of Aintree have donated the proceeds of their efforts to the Kincardine hospital foundation. THANK YOU!
