South Bruce OPP report missing teen found; and impaired driver charged
MISSING WALKERTON TEEN LOCATED
(WALKERTON, ON) - Sept. 21, at 7:41 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a missing Walkerton teen.
Oct. 2, at 5:08 p.m., 14-year-old Austin SHEWFELT was located in good health.
The South Bruce OPP appreciates the assistance of the media and the public with this investigation.
IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING DAY IN COURT
(BROCKTON, ON) - Oct. 3, at 12:37 a.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Highway 9 in the Municipality of Brockton, stopped to check a red Chrysler Neon. The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol.
Twenty-one-year-old John THOMLINSON of Orangeville was charged with impaired care or control, care or control over-80 milligrams, and possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 1, to answer to the charges.
