Kincardine hospital emergency department temporarily closed

The emergency department at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine hospital site is temporarily closed, Wednesday morning (Nov. 1), while an odour leak in the building is investigated. Police and fire services are currently on-site.

All outpatient appointments have been cancelled for the day, including laboratory and diagnostic imaging, and ambulances are on bypass to other local hospitals until further notice.

The inpatient unit in the hospital has not been affected.

Members of the public are encouraged to refrain from visiting the hospital until further notice.
