Toronto family wins Huron-Kinloss Ice Cream Trail grand prize
The Quesnelle family of Toronto has won the grand prize in the Huron-Kinloss Ice Cream Trail™ contest, earning 250 Huron-Kinloss dollars.

This year's Ice Cream Trail™ saw 247 participants, up a small amount from 2016. Overall, feedback for the trail was positive from businesses and participants who took part in the promotion.

In addition to the grand prize, there were a number of special prizes awarded for the largest group, the most Canadian-spirited photo, the most creative photo booth photo, and a new 2017 prize for posting pictures on social media using #icecreamtrail.

Congratulations to Richard Martin’s motorcycle group for winning the prize for the largest group for the third year in a row. Eleven other motorcyclists joined Richard on a tour across Huron-Kinloss to explore the Ice Cream Trail™ stops and local food destinations.

The most Canadian-spirited photo was submitted by Christina Aubie of Priceville for a terrific rendition of the Paul Henderson mural. The most creative photo booth photo was submitted by Ann Hernandez. And this year’s new social media prize was awarded to Alexandra McIntyre for posting all of her pictures on social media using #icecreamtrail.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 2017 Ice Cream Trail™. Be sure to visit www.icecreamtrail.ca for information about next year’s trail.
