Kinetic Knights showcase robotics at Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre

Kinetic Knights showcase robotics at Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre
Members of the Kinetic Knights Robotics Team 781 of Kincardine were at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre, Saturday, showcasing their FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics program.

Through an interactive display, the public was invited to check out the 2014 Team 781 robot and try driving it. Also on display, were related programs, including the FIRST Lego League and Junior Lego League.

The outreach event was a way for the Kinetic Knights to encourage youth to get involved in science, technology, engineering and math.

The Kinetic Knights are off to North Bay this weekend for their second regional competition. If it qualifies, Team 781 is eligible to compete at the world championships in St. Louis, Missouri.
