Bruce Telecom president and CEO Bart Cameron resigns
Bart Cameron, president and chief executive officer of Bruce Telecom, has resigned, effective Wednesday, Nov. 29.
The announcement was made Wednesday in a press release from the company.
"The board is thankful for Bart (Cameron)’s years of service and the leadership he has provided to Bruce Telecom, and wish him the best in his future endeavors," states the press release.
In the interim, the board has appointed director Thomas (Tom) Sullivan to assume leadership responsibility of Bruce Telecom during the search for a new president and CEO. Sullivan is a seasoned telecom executive with 45 years of experience in the industry and was appointed to the new board of directors in November.
“I am confident that Tom (Sullivan) will provide excellent leadership for Bruce Telecom during our search for a new president and CEO," said board chairman Robert Watson.
