Christmas Nativity open house at Century 21 office in downtown Kincardine

Heather and Sam Finnie of Century 21 Sunset Realty, in downtown Kincardine, welcome everyone to their Christmas Nativity open house, tomorrow afternoon and evening, at their newly-renovated office at 330 Durham Market South.

The display features a magnificent variety of more than 100 nativity scenes from all over the world; the pieces are part of the Finnies' personal collection.

Among them, are a couple of new items. An RCMP nativity scene, in celebration of Canada's 150th birthday, was purchased in the summer at 10,000 Villages in New Hamburg; and a beautiful nativity from Bethlehem was purchased last fall.

"It's nice to have such a great collection and it's wonderful to share it with others," said Heather. "I enjoy so much unpacking the nativities every year and putting them on display."

The open house is Saturday, Dec. 2, from 2-9 p.m. Come and warm up before and after the Kincardine Santa Claus Parade, with a hot drink, some cookies and Christmas music!

The nativities will continue to be on display for the month of December during office hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
