Invisible Wounds conference in Kincardine inspires "Overcoming Obstacles" documentary
The documentary, "Overcoming Obstacles," will be aired on Wightman TV Channel 6, Jan. 10, at 8:30 p.m., and on Bruce Telecom TV Channel 1, Jan. 11, at 8:30 p.m.
Produced by Adam Olivero, local TV content producer/Wightman Bruce Telecom, this documentary would not have been possible without the collaborative efforts of some of the speakers at the Invisible Wounds Conference, held in October in Kincardine.
Special thanks to Leslie Ford for sponsoring the documentary, and for the ongoing support of our First Responders.
For people outside the viewing area, a link to the documentary will be posted on
www.invisiblewounds.org.ca on or before Feb. 1. (This website is currently under construction.)
Two conferences are tentatively planned for 2018 - the Invisible Wounds Conference for First Responders in the fall, and another Invisible Wounds Conference specifically for Health Professionals in the summer. Details of upcoming conferences will be posted on
www.invisiblewounds.org.ca and on Eventbrite.
