Tiverton news
Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson began the new year by spotlighting remarkable citizens in Huron-Bruce, including eight people of the Kincardine area. Among those recognized for their contributions to their communities, was Tiverton’s own Dorne Fitzsimmons.
Dorne has held positions on the Kincardine hospital board (part of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre) and the Bruce County Historical Society. He volunteers at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Royal Canadian Legion, and is currently working behind the scenes on a World War Veteran project to showcase the long-lasting impacts and historical significance of the Great Wars.
Congratulations, Dorne, and thanks for all your hard work and dedication to the community!
