Bervie W.I. presents comfort packs to Kincardine Fire Department
For the third year in a row, the Bervie Women's Institute has presented comfort packs to the Kincardine Fire Department.

Each pack contains a book, blanket and bear to help a child in crisis. Donating these to emergency departments, including fire, police and ambulance, is part of the Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario (FWIO) 121st anniversary activities.

Kincardine fire chief Kent Padfield welcomed the donation, saying it's important to have these on hand to give to a child during a fire call, motor vehicle accident or other incident.

The comfort packs will be placed in fire trucks at both the Kincardine and Tiverton stations.
