Kincardine Theatre Guild wins drama league awards for “Giant's Gardenâ€
The Kincardine Theatre Guild has won two Western Ontario Drama League pre-festival awards for the fall production of “The Giant's Garden.”
Kathryn Low, who played the role of Bird, won the Hadley Award for the most outstanding juvenile. Evan Graham, who shared the role of Oscar with Charlie Hall Elwood, was also nominated for this award.
In addition, the theatre guild won the Inez Hayes Memorial Award for outstanding ensemble work.

Also nominated, were Holly McAdam for the best visually-co-ordinated costumes (non-rental), and Andy French for outstanding sound design.
The awards will be presented at the Gala Evening, Saturday, March 17, in Sarnia, following the Western Ontario Drama League festival.
Chosen to perform at the festival, March 12-16, are Guelph Little Theatre, “Gloria's Guy;” Kitchener Waterloo Little Theatre, “Venus in Fur;” Aylmer Community Theatre, “The Dining Room;” Elmira Theatre Company, “On a First Name Basis;” and Paris Performers' Theatre, “Twelve Angry Men.”
