Darlene Hilliard of Kincardine dies suddenly at the age of 74

Darlene Shirley Grace Hilliard of Kincardine, died suddenly at the London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital, Thursday, March 1, 2018, in her 75th year.

Cherished wife of James “Jim” Wade.

Also missed by her many friends throughout the Kincardine community.

Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Gladys (née Claque) Hilliard; and her brother, Darryl Hilliard (2017).

Darlene was warm and friendly and enjoyed being involved in her community. She was a member of the Kincardine Legion for almost 30 years, and was a hard-working, dedicated volunteer. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Friday, March 9, 2018, from 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 11 a.m. with Father Thomas Manninezhath officiating.

Interment, Kincardine Cemetery.
