Wingham man, charged with double homicide, now facing more charges
(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) - The police investigation into a double homicide that took place March 29 on C Line Road southwest of Wroxeter, has led to further criminal charges being laid against the accused.
In addition to the two first-degree murder charges, police have charged 56-year-old Kevin CARTER of Wingham, with Sexual Assault with a Weapon and Forcible Confinement.
The accused remains in custody with a video court appearance scheduled for April 18, at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
This investigation remains active with members of the Huron County OPP Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Services, under the direction of detective inspector Randy Wright of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
A court-imposed publication ban remains in place for this case.
