Pair arrested for possession of break-in tools and drugs
(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) - Huron County OPP officers arrested two people earlier this week, following a tip about a suspiciously-parked vehicle.

Just after 7 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, the Huron OPP received a call about a Dodge Ram pick-up truck that was parked suspiciously behind some barns on a farm property located on Lanesville Line. The caller had a feeling the vehicle didn't belong on the property and requested police to check it out.

Shortly thereafter, police arrived on scene and located the suspect vehicle and two occupants with it. Upon speaking with them, it was determined the woman was wanted by Huron OPP on an outstanding warrant so she was placed under arrest and searched.

As a result of the search, police found the woman and man to both be in possession of break-in tools and morphine.

Krystal GIBSON, 29, of Kincardine, and Gerald KENNEDY, 34 of Oshawa, have both been charged with Possession of Break-in Tools and Possession of a Schedule I Drug (Morphine).

They have since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for June 11, at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

*THESE CHARGES HAVE YET TO BE PROVEN IN COURT*
