POLICE CALLED TO COLLISION BETWEEN CAR AND HOUSE
(KINCARDINE, ON) – April 13, at 9:40 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a collision involving a house along Queen Street North in Kincardine.
Officers attended with members of the Kincardine Fire department and Bruce County paramedics to find that a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser was exiting from the hospital driveway when it crossed Queen Street North and struck a house.
The driver, an 81-year-old woman of the Municipality of Kincardine, was charged with careless driving. She was assessed for non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other injuries reported.
LOCKS CUT OFF STORAGE LOCKERS IN RIPLEY
(RIPLEY, ON) – April 13, at 10:27 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of mischief to storage units at the Ripley Store All, located along Park Street in Ripley.
Sometime between 6 p.m. April 10, and 8 a.m. April 10, locks were removed from a number of storage units. There is no property reported missing at this time.
POLICE INVESTIGATING EARLY-MORNING BREAK-IN
(KINCARDINE, ON) – April 14, at 8:19 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a break-in at a residence in the 300 block of Mechanics Avenue in Kincardine.
Sometime between 6:30-8 a.m. April 14, the residence was entered through a side door. The list of stolen items includes Canadian currency (including some coins), and a quantity of prescription medication. The value of the stolen items is estimated to be $250.
