Dr. Secord was a man true to his profession, says reader
To the Editor:
RE: “A monument to muddled thinking, asks reader”
This story gave an exceptional account in relation to Dr. Solomon Secord, a fine resident of Kincardine.
I remember the home on Durham Street which he owned and occupied.
Each time I passed by, I remembered, and I paused to think about the wonderful stories I had read regarding his contributions during the Civil War - being a Canadian and serving in the United States to treat and save American lives.
He was a man true to his profession.
Thanks, Marc, for your well-written dialogue.
