Kinetic Knights Bottle Drive raises almost $540

The Kinetic Knights Robotics Team 781 was busy Saturday morning, canvassing the Kincardine area for empty beer and alcohol bottles and cans to raise money for the team's trip to the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) world championships in St. Louis, Missouri, next weekend.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the team gathered enough bottles and cans to raise almost $540 for the cause.

The Kinetic Knights leave Tuesday night for St. Louis, for the competition which runs Wednesday to Saturday.
