Let's get the real facts about spending in Huron-Kinloss, say readers
Dear Liz:
RE: “Huron-Kinloss deputy mayor objects to untruths about council's performance”
Having just read Huron-Kinloss deputy mayor Wilfred Gamble’s resignation letter from council, I would just like to add that I have worked with him and other township council members on various committees over the past 20 years, and you couldn’t ask for more honest, caring people than the ones who have served the municipality so well.
I have watched them trying to balance expenditures while completing projects that were really needed at the time. Decisions were never made lightly.
Thank you Wilf, for your dedication; you have served the taxpayers of Huron-Kinloss well.
As to the candidate who caused you so much grief, I would suggest less talk and more fact-finding.
Sincerely,
Joye Hunt

To the Editor:
Why didn't anybody investigate how much the windmill people spent rebuilding the roads of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh (ACW), and print the total of that plus ACW spending and see how that compared to Huron-Kinloss?
