Heritage Kincardine seeks early photos of pavilion

To the Editor:

One of Heritage Kincardine’s roles is to maintain historical plaques, such as the ones on the boardwalk, and also develop new ones. Usually, the plaques tell a story and include a picture or two.

We are in the process of developing a new historic plaque for the area around the Kincardine Pavilion. We have done extensive research on this interesting building which has been a part of the lives of many residents and visitors to the area.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to come up with good photos of the interior and exterior of the pavilion from its earliest days. If you have any pictures of the pavilion pre-1950 that you would be willing to share, please contact Heritage Kincardine at heritagekincardine@gmail.com or 519-396-3468, Ext. 7111.
