Kincardine ServiceOntario provider has left the building
The Kincardine ServiceOntario office has been closed temporarily due to a staff shortage, as indicated by the notice on the door.

However, the staff shortage is the fact that the service provider has left the building.

A spokesperson from the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services states, “Due to unforeseen reasons, the service provider, who operated the ServiceOntario centre in Kincardine, chose to exit the business abruptly, and the centre closed April 1.

“ServiceOntario is currently looking into finding a new service provider to deliver services in the community.”

In the meantime, customers of the Kincardine centre can visit one of the following centres:

  • Port Elgin office, located at 559 Goderich Street, Unit 119 (34.6 kilometres away)
  • Paisley office, located at 434 Queen Street South (40.9 kilometres away)
  • Walkerton office, located at 203 Cayley Street (43.0 kilometres away)

Customers can also access more than 40 services on-line, including Health Card renewals and a number of driver and vehicle services. These services can be accessed through the website at: www.ontario.ca/page/serviceontario.
