Readers, mayor concerned about theft of plants in Kincardine
To the Editor:
RE: “Volunteers upset with whoever stole plants from Geddes Park”
Possibly some caring gardeners may donate some plants to fill the space.
Such thieves should be ashamed and have to replace the plants they stole. However, they probably will not get caught.

To the Editor:
I am so sorry to hear of the plants being stolen.
I use the garden frequently and have often seen the volunteers hard at work on this ‘labour of love’.
I appreciate the labyrinth and appreciate very much the work of the volunteers.

At the Kincardine council meeting Monday night (June 3), mayor Anne Eadie also mentioned the stolen plants at Geddes Park, and noted that plants were removed from several other community gardens.
“This is very discouraging to the volunteers who work so hard to keep our community looking beautiful,” she said. “I hope it won't happen again.”
