Once again the Ainsdale ladies were undaunted by the cool weather, and have set a few high season standards.

The sponsored-hole winners for Closest to the Line were: Kim Catto, Nancy Turcotte, Una MacDonald, Beth Mimnagh, Joanna Malott.
The Longest Drive winners: Karen Neiliopvitz, Nancy Turcotte, Barb Grubb, Jean Rhude, Marianne Irwin, Judy Watt, and the closest to the sprinkler head was Cathy Chambers.
CORRECTION: Due to a scoring error, the A flight stableford winner in A flight on May 19 was Maureen Peet with 30.86 points, Maureen carded six pars and won four skins on the back nine for a high personal target for the season.
SENIOR MEN'S LEAGUE
It certainly wasn't 30 degrees but the team of Murray Wardell, John Downs, John King and Pui Ng were very hot at minus-five for nine holes at the Ainsdale Senior Men's league, Wednesday.
Closest to the pins, were won by Bill Stewart, No. 12, and John King, No. 17.
By the way, Bill Stewart received his $5 entry back as an attendance prize.
