Calling all cancer survivors to the 10th Kincardine and Area Relay for Life

To the Editor:

ARE YOU A CANCER SURVIVOR?

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Kincardine and Area Relay For Life. To celebrate this special event, we are inviting as many survivors as possible to join for us the Survivors’ Victory Lap. This lap lets us not only celebrate those who have overcome, or are in the process of overcoming, cancer but also reminds the rest of us why it is so important that we continue to relay.

Those who participate in the Survivors’ Victory Lap are evidence of the great strides we are making in the fight against cancer.

If you are a survivor, please invite family and friends to join you in walking this Victory Lap at 7 p.m., June 20. Immediately after this lap, Miller Insurance, continuing its wonderful tradition at relay, will once again host a reception for survivors and family members or friends. The reception is always well-attended and appreciated by the survivors.

To register or for further information, contact me at 519-396-7348. Although it is possible to register the same day, we would appreciate having an idea of numbers beforehand. This is particularly helpful in ensuring that Miller Insurance orders enough food for everyone!

Looking forward to joining the rest of the relay participants in cheering all our survivors during this very meaningful celebration of your fight against cancer.
