Good weather helps Ainsdale ladies bring great numbers to the scoring table

Once again, the good weather helped the Ainsdale Ladies bring some great numbers to the scoring table. 

Debbie Pegg was on fire, carding a blistering 45 on the front nine to dominate C flight, while Laura Haight led the way with her 45 in B flight, Jeanne Grobowsky is determined to get into A flight recording a 44 to set a new standard for herself.

 

The flight winners for Stableford points were: 
 

  • A - Kim Catto 29.37
  • B - Laura Haight 30.40
  • C - Debbie Pegg 34.75
  • D - Milvi Zuch 30.90
  • E - Jan Kelly 34.55
  • F - Jeanne Grobowsky

 

The flight winners for low putts were:
 

  • A - Cathy Chambers 14
  • B - Wendy Gardner 14
  • C - Una MacDonald 16
  • D - Milvi Zuch 18
  • E - Marianne Irwin 22
  • F - Jeanne Grobowsky 18

 

The sponsored-hole winners for closest to the line were,  Nancy Stewart,  Anne Burton,  Bonnie Boyd,  Jackie Mitchell,  Jan Kelly,  Joanna Malott. The longest-drive winners were:  Denise Tighe,  Anne Burton,  Lori Harding,  Ruth Johnston,  Una MacDonald,  Joanna Malott, while the closest to the sprinkler head went to Laura Haight.


SENIOR MEN'S LEAGUE

 

On a very windy day on the back-nine at Ainsdale, the team of Ken Bresee, Mike Bunker and Pui Ng won the weekly senior men's league at Ainsdale Golf Course, minus-two in a putt off. 

Closest to the pin honours belonged to Steve MacEachern at No. 12 and Bob Wolfenden at No. 17.
