Great to have everyone out to open house of new barn, say Farrells

To the Editor:

We just wanted to express our thanks to everyone who came out to our barn open house Thursday (March 17).

It was great to have so many people interested in learning a bit about dairy farming. It was a really busy day for us but very rewarding as well.

We hope you got your questions answered, but it was difficult, if not impossible, to speak personally with everyone. We figure there were at least 500 people here over the day, with a good mix of farmers and non-farmers.

If you have questions, or missed the open house, we are holding another one Saturday, April 9, again from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please accept this as your invitation to return, or come for the first time.

It was great to see everyone and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
